K Looks Toward 2004- A National Title In Sight

London - Last September K. Whitner won big. He emerged as the 2002 Men's Overall Champion in the Conquest Bodybuilding Fitness & Figure Championships held in Richmond, VA. The win was a testament to months of hard work. Though the results declared him a unanimous winner, it did not come easy! " It's pretty difficult to put in 80 hours a week at the law firm, concentrate on developing new business, and diet and train twice a day for 3 months, all for those precious few moments during which you are judged on stage," stated K.

In a well thought out decision, K has decided that he will not compete this year, instead, he will focus upon training toward national shows in 2004. He plans to do the Junior USA and USA Championships next year. During the time away
from competing he's considering steps that he can take toward teaching others about the health risks associated with improper dieting and lack of fitness. " If people would just realize that their bodies are machines they would recognize the value of proper food as fuel and exercise for maintenance," he added.

Even though 2003 will not be a year when he brings a new title home, K has set his sights on working to help others who are not fully aware of the benefits associated with physical fitness. This alone is a victory.
